Charles S. Winchcombe & Son, will always act responsibly with your data. If we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. You can withdraw your consent to us holding your data, but this may mean that we are unable to carry undertake work on your behalf.

- Demographic information such as postcode, preferences, and interests relevant to funeral arranging
- Information as above relating to any deceased in our care, or writing pre-paid funeral plans

We require information to provide you with the best service possible, and in particular for the following reasons:

- To liaise with relevant third parties to arrange an ‘at need’ funeral (as illustrated below) or complete memorial works
- To communicate with you regarding relevant products and services
- Internal record keeping
We keep this information securely on file to assist with any future works you may request – ie. If we were to arrange the funeral for one family member and you were to return in a few years to arrange another funeral, that information would then be accessed at the time of need to assist you with making those arrangements.

- Clergy/Celebrant – including the Parish Offices as applicable

- Yours or your next of kin’s pre-paid plan provider
This information is only ever shared for the purposes of making ‘at need’ funeral arrangements, completing memorial works or processing a pre-paid funeral plan enquiry.

From time to time we receive requests from interested parties – i.e. journalists, family friends etc. We will not disclose your personal contact information; however, we may contact you to advise you of the contact to allow you to liaise with the interested parties directly if you so wish.
We will not use your personal information for direct marketing, or pass information on to third parties for this purpose.
